Winter & Summer Intensive: Strategy (SS)

Our Strategy Program is a 15-lesson immersive course designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the SAT. We focus primarily on Verbal, but when we cover Math, we concentrate on reading-type math questions, ensuring we address all areas of the SAT. With the SAT’s adaptive nature, mastering every section is key—it’s not just about being good; it’s about mastering each part systematically.

SAT Advanced: Weekends (SA)

*Only for students who have completed the Strategy Course.

our Advanced Maintenance Sessions are designed to ensure students stay sharp and consistently refine their SAT skills until test day. This session focuses on drilling key concepts, reinforcing techniques learned during the Strategy Course, and maintaining a high level of focus.

School Term Weekend Classes (ST)

*New Students - Pick either Verbal or Math only

Our School Term Weekend Classes are designed for students who prefer to start during the school term. These classes meet once a week over 14 weeks, focusing on either Verbal or Math, depending on the student’s needs.

However, we recommend our Strategy Program for a more effective prep experience, as it is an immersive 15-day course that covers everything intensively in a focused manner.

The Digital SAT - A Whole New Terrain.

The biggest change with this test is that it is digital – and adaptive. Each section has two modules, the second one being determined by your performance in the first. Module 2 will be more difficult if you do well on Module 1. On the flip side, it will be easier if you don’t perform as well on Module 1.

The New Digital Format

This test takes 2 hours and 14 minutes, cut down from its previous 3 hours.

The Reading & Writing section now has more brief, 1-question passages. The math section’s word problem lengths have also been reduced.

What’s new is that you’re allowed a calculator. In fact, there’s one built into the system for your use.

  • A 32-minute baseline module to get started.

Includes 27 questions, all questions are a separate passage.

Scoring

When you receive your SAT score report, you’ll see more than just your overall score.

It includes separate Reading & Writing and Math section scores (each out of 800), as well as a Knowledge and Skills breakdown that reflects your performance across different domains.

While this breakdown provides insight into your strengths and weaknesses, it is not used in college admissions decisions.

  • I loved the atmosphere of this class and I enjoyed how it wasn't too strict. I liked how Kevin, Kym and the TAs were not just teachers, but also friends and trustworthy people. I improved a lot, from 1200 to 1430 in 3 weeks.

    Ethan C (Taipei American School)

  • Not only has my SAT score improved by 250 points, I also learned strategies that transcend the scopes of standardized tests: grammar, time management, and critical thinking.
