PrepMasters Beginnings
It all started with Kevin, an engineering major who just couldn’t stop taking things apart. Not just computers or gadgets—but vending machines, Rubik’s cubes, even claw machines at the arcade (yes, he figured out the trick to winning every time). To him, everything had a system, a pattern—a hidden logic waiting to be cracked.
Then came the SAT. While everyone else saw it as a stressful exam, Kevin saw a game that could be decoded. A set of rules, predictable patterns, and just like a vending machine hack—a way to beat it with the right moves.
Back in college, his "classroom" wasn’t a classroom at all—it was a noisy corner in Starbucks. Amid the whir of coffee machines and the chatter of strangers, Kevin sat with students, sketching out strategies on napkins. People-watching became a habit—observing how people think, what motivates them, and ultimately, what they really want. and realizing what really mattered:
Students didn’t need more textbooks or generic test tips. They needed a coach who could break things down, hand them the right tools, and show them how to win.
So, the roundtable discussions began—not in a lecture hall, but in a place where ideas flowed as freely as the coffee. What started with a handful of students and some scribbled notes has grown into a thriving community of learners who approach academics the same way Kevin approached claw machines—with logic, creativity, and the confidence to outsmart the system.
At PrepMasters, we don’t just teach. We reverse-engineer success. Whether it’s cracking the SAT, navigating college admissions, or mastering a tough subject, we make it simple, strategic, and effective.

Yes! Kevin achieved and maintained a perfect SAT score for 18 years! Every year, he takes the SAT on his own, working under a homeschooler status. His unique ability to break down the test into manageable, understandable patterns is one of the key reasons PrepMasters stands out. He’s not only been through the experience himself, but he’s also spent years refining his approach to help others reach their potential. Kevin’s success isn’t just about mastering the test—it’s about showing students how they can beat it too.
